ANSONIA - Mayor David S. Cassetti and Emergency Management Director and Police Chief Kevin Hale will convene a meeting of the Public Safety Committee at 11 a.m. today to discuss necessary precautions and protocol regarding the Ebola virus in the Ansonia Emergency Operations Center.
Cassetti said in a release Sunday: “Chief Hale and I have asked all members of the Public Safety Committee, including Public Works, Fire, Police, Emergency Management, Education, etc., to meet to discuss the steps needed to be taken to ensure that Ansonia is prepared to respond should the need arise and to know that our city officials are coordinating and communicating.
