Derby Neck Library to host virtual dance program



DERBY - In this program hosted by Derby Neck Library at 1 p.m. Feb. 26 participants will learn the basics of Hip Hop Culture - its history and core elements. 
They will also learn basic dance movements, and be encouraged to get on their feet and move their bodies!

Learn about maple sugaring at Ansonia Nature and Recreation Center




A very long time ago, the native people of the northeastern part of our country shared their sweet tree know-how with the newcomers from Europe. 

Ranger Dawn and Alison present an introduction to making maple syrup the old-fashioned way, and help us to choose just the right tree for tapping into this sweet treat! 

FEE: $6 per person. 

Family program - children must be accompanied by an adult.
