BAD SONS Beer Co. in Derby to host dog adoption event Saturday

DERBY - Grab those tiny umbrella drinks and floral print shirts, dogdanas and puppers for a dog-friendly summer luau!

The North Shore adoption bus will be on-site at BAD SONS Beer Co., 251 Roosevelt Drive, with animals available for adoption. Puppy pools will be placed in the lawn for optimal cooling stations. 

Prizes will be given out for our Best Dressed owner/pup duos! Plus, some of our favorite vendors will be back!

Proceeds from the event will go to benefit the efforts of Halfway Home Rescue, LLC in their efforts to find new homes for all their furiends.

Salon owner donates $300 to Seymour Pink

 Lynn Giardini, right, owner, Hair by Lynn LLC in Seymour, donated $300 she raised during the month of October to the nonprofit Seymour Pink. 
Giardini presented a check today to Mary Deming, founder of Seymour Pink, a community's fight against breast cancer. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
