Living with Dementia Caregiver Series slated at Wesley Heights in Shelton

SHELTON - Wesley Village Senior Living Campus, in collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association CT Chapter, will host a three-part education program for family members and friends of people with any type of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

The “Living with Dementia Caregiver Series” will be held at Wesley Heights Assisted Living Community (Activity Room) at Wesley Village at 580 Long Hill Ave. 

All events will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays.

• Tuesday, May 3, 2022 - Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia 

Presented by Richard Marottoli, MD, Medical Director, Dorothy Adler Geriatric Assessment Center at Yale-New Haven Hospital, along with information about Alzheimer’s Association Programs and Services

• Tuesday, May 10, 2022 - Effective Communication Strategies: Quality Connections & Moments of Joy 

Presented by Maria Tomasetti, Alzheimer’s Association

• Tuesday, May 24, 2022 -Legal and Financial Issues 

Presented by Attorney Denise A. Mortati, Trumbull, CT
