My Sister's Place is a family thrift store and donation center at 380 Main St., Ansonia.
All proceeds benefit The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, a program of BHcare.
"Last week, we had to dump several boxes of items left overnight outside of our donation bins. With this rainy weather, the heat and humidity, and even the neighborhood possum snooping around, we are unable to bring in and sort any items left outside of our receptacle.
