Sharing scenes from holiday marketplace at Ansonia Armory

The Ansonia Cultural Commission held its third annual Holiday Marketplace Saturday at the Ansonia Armory.

Vendors selling crafts, art work, baked goods, candles, jewelry, clothing, and more filled the armory space.

J'nae participates in the marketplace each year. She enjoys drawing, and creates crafts, including beaded and crocheted key fobs.

Ansonia High School Global Scholars were selling candy apples they had made.
They are raising funds for a trip to France and Italy. They said they will be holding fundraisers throughout the school year until April.

Eddy's Bake Shop from downtown Ansonia was there featuring delicious-looking cookies and pastries.

The Friends of the Ansonia Animal Shelter raffled off homemade wreaths to raise funds.
