Historical novel topic of discussion at Derby Public Library

DERBY - The Derby Public Library has scheduled its next Lunchtime Book Discussion for 12:30 p.m. March 29. 
The selected title is the captivating historical novel The Ringmaster’s Wife.  

Author Kristy Cambron seesaws between the story lines of two young women pursuing their dreams of a new life.  
While Mable and Rosamund do have a few brief encounters, they both end up in the shadow of the big top, but with much different perspectives.  

Circus life during the 1920s, when the Ringlings were establishing themselves, is vividly depicted. 
This story of heartbreak, loss, hope, and triumph is set against the colorful backdrop of the “greatest show on Earth.”      

Participants are asked to bring a sandwich and a friend as they “chat and chew.” 
Dessert and beverages will be provided.
