Cassetti seeks vendors to expand Ansonia Farmers' Market

Year three of Mayor David S. Cassetti’s Ansonia Farmer’s Market may take on a new dimension as the city seeks to dramatically expand vendors there for the upcoming summer and fall season.
Gazy Brothers Farm of Oxford, the market organizer and management, will begin accepting applications and scheduling of market vendors. Those interested can complete and submit an application (link attached).
Last summer’s market added Ansonia-based Amski’s Delights (jams and pies), and fresh breads and mozzarella from Beldotti Bakery of Stamford.
The intent is to utilize the adjacent expansive park to its fullest capacity with quality vendors.

“The wonderful folks from Gazy Brothers Farm and I envision several additional vendors joining in this ever-growing downtown outdoor market,” Cassetti said.
The market opens June 18 and will be open every Friday through Thanksgiving from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Location is directly across from the train station on Main Street.
