Seymour Public Library slates educational fun for kids in April



SEYMOUR - Seymour Public Library, 46 Church St., has scheduled a variety of fun activities for children in April.

4/3 – 10:30 a.m. – Family Place Play Group – many different types of play, craft table and brief circle time. Meet up with old friends and make new friends. Group is for infants through 6 years old. Sometimes local childhood experts are on hand. All are welcome!

4/5 - 4 p.m. – StoryKids’ Book Club for K-Grade 2. Book talks, craft, and a snack. Child must have some reading ability.

4/11- 4  p.m. – Nutmeggers’ - YA Book Club for Grades 5-8. Book talk, craft, and a snack. It features the Intermediate Nutmeg Nominees.

4/12 - 10:30 a.m. Science Snoopers ‘Bugs!’ – Natural science, story and craft for ages 2 & up.  Must be able to sit & listen

4/12 - 4 p.m. – BookChatters’ Book Club for Grades 2-4. Book talk, craft, and a snack. It features the Magic Tree House Series

4/17 – 10:30 a.m. – Lynn Lewis! Music & Movement – singing & dancing & fun for all ages!

4/18 – 10:30 a.m. – Lionheart Puppets presents: ‘Jack Tuesday - Fairy Tale Investigator’ Unique & fun puppet show! All are welcome!

4/19 – 10:30 a.m. – Animal Embassy’s ‘Rainforest Rendezvous.’ Live animals!

4/20 – 10:30 a.m. – Drawing & Design with Miss Debi!  Create something special! Ages 5 & up; limited space!

4/20 – 2 p.m. – YA Origami! Make a wonderful Origami creation –for ages 10 & up.

4/27 & 28 - Drop In Arbor Day Craft - For all ages; all day both days.

All Programs Are Free! Fun! & Formative!
Some have limited enrollment; registration is required for all programs.
