Derby Town Clerk: City Hall, Library closed today after positive COVID test results


From Town/City Clerk Marc Garofalo:


"Due to two staff members testing positive, others awaiting test results, and other possible exposure to COVID-19, Derby City Hall and Derby Public Library will be closed to the public on Monday November 16, 2020 to sanitize, await test results, and conduct contact tracing.

 

"Staff will be working remotely and checking voice mail and emails throughout the day.

 

"For online services, please visit www.derbyct.gov

 

"For other in person business, please utilize the drop-box located on the Parking Lot Side of the building to the right of the entry door.

 

The Town Clerk’s Office will be available to Funeral Homes and will process land records received via mail or in the drop box.  Please email for quickest response.

 

"We regret any inconvenience but want our staff, customers, and volunteers to be safe.

 

"We appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time."
