Seymour Public Library plans playgroup, book clubs, crafts, music for kids

SEYMOUR - Seymour Public Library, 46 Church St., has scheduled fun and educational activities for children.   
They include:

Feb. 23, March 1, 8, 15, and 29 - 10:30 a.m. - Family Place Playgroup for infants - 5 year olds. Experience many different types of play in a free play style program. 
Interact, develop social skills and make new friends! 
Possible visit from a child care or health advisor. A short circle time is held at the end of the session.

March 3 - 4 p.m. - StoryKids’ Book Club for K-Grade 2 . Book talks, craft and a snack. Child must have some reading ability.

March 9 - 4 p.m. - Nutmeggers’ Book Club for Grade 5 & up. Book talks, craft and a snack. The club features the Intermediate Nutmeg Nominees.

March 10 - 10:30 a.m.- Science Snoopers ‘Whooo’s Awake?’ Natural science and a craft for ages 2 and up. The child must be able to sit and listen.

March 10 - 4 p.m.- BookChatters’ Book Club for Grades 2-4. Book talks, craft, and a snack. The club features the Magic Tree House Series. 

March 17 -10:30 a.m.- Lynn Lewis will offer Music & Movement for ages 0-6. A fun time for everyone!

March 22 – 11 a.m.- Preschoolers’ Egg Hunt Party!  Stories, games, refreshments and, an Egg Hunt. 
Bring Your Own Basket. Egg hunt begins promptly; please be on time!

Registration is required for all programs.
