Shelton Police ask motorists to use caution around Howe Avenue road work
Shelton PD will be assisting with road work on Howe Avenue in the downtown corridor.
Please be aware of the posted No Parking/Tow Away Zone from 6 p.m.-6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday all summer. Vehicles parked in the restricted area may be towed.
Please use caution, watch for Police Officers and work crews. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Shelton Police post street closings before tonight's fireworks

The annual Shelton-Derby Fireworks are scheduled for tonight, Friday, June 30 at the Riverwalk on Canal Street.
Howe Avenue, including all side roads, between Wharf Street and Center Street will be closed at 7:30 p.m.
Canal Street between Wharf Street and Hill Street will be closed at approximately 2 p.m..
Canal Street between Hill Street and Cornell Street will be closed at 5:30 p.m.
