St. Mary-St. Michael School in Derby to hold Annual Festival of Trees


DERBY - St. Mary-St. Michael School will hold its Annual Festival of Trees Christmas Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 23. The school is at 14 Seymour Ave.

Enjoy breakfast and/or lunch as well as raffles for Christmas trees, gift baskets, and wreaths! The event will include a Chinese auction and many unique craft vendors.


Have a photo taken with Santa between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. It will be a day of family fun!

Seymour Police to fill pickup Saturday with donations for food bank



SEYMOUR - On Saturday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.is the Seyour Police Department annual Pile Up The Pickup Food Drive at Seymour Stop and Shop. 

Stop by and help support the Seymour-Oxford food bank. 
All items donated will help feed local families this Thanksgiving.

Items needed to make Thanksgiving baskets are 12-15 pound turkeys, fresh sweet potatoes, carrots, cranberry sauce, potatoes, onions, gravy, and stuffing mix.
Items needed to fill the shelves are gravy, stuffing, spam, canned chicken, canned vegetables, cookies, children's snack items, salad dressing, and other non-perishable goods.
