Derby Neck Library to host Cantos Y Cuentos story time Thursday

DERBY - Every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. join Señor Bob in Derby Neck Library's Community Room for a bilingual story time for speakers of all languages! You’ll sing songs, listen to stories, and ¡se divertirán mucho! 

This program to promote foreign language skills is targeted for ages 3-5, but all are welcome.

Derby Public Library to host Teen Game Time today, June 11

DERBY - Derby Public Library invites young adults ages 12 to 17 to YA Wednesdays Teen Game Time from 5-6:30 p.m. June 4 [today] and June 11.

Nintendo Wii and tabletop games are available. Light refreshments will be provided.

Derby Neck Library to kick off summer reading program

SUMMER READING 2025! Our Kick-off Party begins on June 23 at noon with a petting zoo, pony rides, medieval armor and weapons demonstration, adult crafts, and more. 

Book Buddies are back, adults have a new BINGO sheet to fill out, and teens will get to earn raffle tickets for gift cards to multiple different vendors. And that's not all--we'll also have special programs for all ages, like a life-sized version of Candy Land at IRL Games on Tuesdays, an immersive how-to series for Dungeons and Dragons, and the return of Musical BINGO!
Youth are invited to register using READsquared and adults can stop at the front desk to pick up their BINGO sheets beginning on June 23.
