Murphy visits Master's Table Thanksgiving dinner in Ansonia


U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy poses with Zavier Derosiers, 10, of Ansonia, the youngest volunteer for Master's Table Community Meals. Murphy visited folks at the Thanksgiving dinner Sunday at Assumption Church hall in Ansonia. Master's Table hosts the community meals once a month in the church hall. Zavier said he volunteers because he likes to help people in need.

Griffin Hospital to host annual concert at Seymour Middle School

SEYMOUR - Griffin Hospital will host its annual holiday concert featuring the United States Navy Band Northeast Pops Ensemble Dec. 7 at Seymour Middle School.

Refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. Doors open to the auditorium at 7 p.m.

The free concert is sponsored by the President's Fund at Griffin Hospital in Derby.

Limit is two tickets per person. Seating is general admisison on a first come, first served basis.
