CT Foodshare truck to visit St. Mary's Church in Derby Tuesday


DERBY - The Connecticut Foodshare truck will visit St. Mary’s Church parking lot from 2:15-3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5. 

No income limits, no questions asked...just bring a bag to receive some food. Next visit after that is  Dec. 19.

Derby Neck Library to host holiday painting activity



DERBY - Join us at 3 p.m. Dec. 10 at Derby Neck Library for a holiday painting activity.
Decorate a wooden nutcracker ornament to add some festive flair to your home.
Participation is limited to 12 adults, so advance registration is required! Sign up at 203-734-1492 or at the front desk. The Library is at 307 Hawthorne Ave.

Conservation Corps to meet Sunday morning at Ansonia Nature Center


Dec. 9 ~ 9:30-11:30 a.m.

ANSONIA - Join Ranger Maria for winter mornings in the Ansonia Nature Center forest. 

The Conservation Corps is an active group with members aged 18-80 that welcomes newcomers. 


During the winter, we tackle the issue of invasive Asiatic Bittersweet vines that are harming our trees. One session can make a difference by saving six 50-year-old trees. Let’s make a positive impact together!
