Bake sale at Plumb Memorial Library in Shelton to benefit Jr. Library Friends

Help support the Junior Friends and the Shelton Library System. 
The Junior Friends is a group managed by the Shelton Library System. 
This group supports local high school students in earning community service hours.

Boys & Girls Club of Lower Naugatuck Valley slates alumni golf tourney in Monroe


SHELTON - Every May our Alumni hit the links to raise money for our Boys & Girls Club. 
Over the years our tournament has been able to raise funds for capital projects, purchasing of equipment, and providing financial assistance to our Keystone Club and Torch Club leadership programs.

Registration starts at 7 am May 24 for 8:30 a.m. shotgun start
$165 per golfer includes:
- 18 holes of golf with a cart
- Tournament gift
- Breakfast Sandwich
- Beverages on the course and lunch at the turn
- Prizes for the top 3 foursomes
- 2 complimentary drinks per golfer along with wings, pizza, and other finger foods at Caloroso’s in Shelton immediately following the tournament.

Derby Historical Society to hold annual luncheon, awards presentation









The Derby Historical Society Annual Meeting Luncheon and Awards Presentation


Sunday, April 21

1 p.m.

J.R. Payden Field House, 75 Chatfield St., Derby 


The William Payden Sports Memorabilia Museum  will be open for viewing 30 minutes prior to and 30 minutes following the event.
