Ansonia Cultural Commission warns Rock the Valley vendors of scammers

It has been brought to our attention that some vendors are being contacted by individuals other than The Ansonia Cultural Commission requesting payment for a spot at our events.

1. The only way to obtain an application is through the City of Ansonia page or through a request to the AnsoniaCulturalCommission@gmail.com email address.
2. We DO NOT and HAVE NOT EVER requested payment through an email in the form of any electronic payment!

3. The only way to secure a spot at one of our events is by mailing in your application (or physically bringing it to the Ansonia City Hall) with a payment by either a check or money order.

Please do not be fooled by these degenerates! The Ansonia Cultural Commission prides itself on giving small businesses the opportunity to be a part of fun, family events.

If you have been victim to these scammers please do your part and report it to the admins of the group you were contacted from.

If you have any questions, please only direct them to the email listed above or on the actual ads that have been posted from the City of Ansonia, the Ansonia Cultural Commission, Rock the Valley, or Rich DiCarlo, Events Coordinator, City of Ansonia 203-736-5900.
