Derby Neck Library to launch STEM Saturdays for children

DERBY - STEM Saturdays is our newest children's program [at Derby Neck Library] offering fun science explorations that help grow understanding about the natural world and reinforce the scientific method as a tool for making meaning out of observations.

STEM Saturdays held from 2-3 p.m. alternate weekly between programs designed for little children (ages 3-6) and big children (ages 7+).
This week's program [Feb. 14] is recommended for the Bigs.

Topic: Cryptology and codebreaking. How to make and decipher codes, and how that connects to security in the modern world.

The Library is at 307 Hawthorne Ave.

This is shared from the Library's website.
