Cassetti updates community on new turf at Nolan Field, game change

Mayor David S. Cassetti provides the following update about Ansonia Charger football:
"Our new turf facility at Nolan Field is almost
complete, and we know how much excitement there is to see our teams take the field. While construction is moving along, the facility is not quite ready for this week’s home opener. To ensure the safety of our athletes and to deliver the best possible facility for our community, this week’s game will be played at Seymour High School on Thursday night at 6:00
p.m."
Please support our Chargers at Seymour High School!
"Charger fans – I promise you the wait will be worth it — we are proud to announce that the grand opening of the new turf facility at Nolan Field will be celebrated on October 3 when Ansonia hosts Torrington at 7:00. This will be a special night for our athletes, students, and the entire community, and we look forward to sharing it with you.
Thank you for your patience and continued support as we put the finishing touches on a first-class facility that will serve Ansonia for years to come."
THANK YOU – AND AS ALWAYS, GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND GO CHARGERS!
