SHELTON - Plumb Memorial Library offers a free bimonthly “Friday Films” series on Fridays at 1 p.m. The films will be viewed in the downstairs Meeting Room.The film for Oct. 17 is Where the Crawdads Sing.

No registration is required and light refreshments will be served.

The new 4,300 square-foot EmPATH unit at Griffin Hospital features a large, open common space with high ceilings, natural light, exterior views, and soothing décor.

The EmPATH Unit at Griffin Hospital includes sensory rooms with patient-controlled lighting and music, which will act as a safe space to help patients regulate emotions.
