Derby Neck Library to offer free, in-person Narcan training
DERBY - In partnership with the Alliance for Prevention and Wellness of BHcare, Derby Neck Library is proud to offer free, in-person Narcan training for members of the community ages high school and up.
The training will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 11. The Library is at 307 Hawthorne Ave.

MLK Day celebration slated at Ansonia High School
ANSONIA - Valley MLK Committee is proud to welcome all to our MLK Day event at 10 a.m. Jan. 15 at Ansonia High School, 20 Pulaski Highway.
No cost to attend and all are welcome to celebrate the transformative legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and to inspire our Valley communities with love, equity, justice, and compassion for ALL Valley residents.
Hear firsthand from Youth Leaders, Valley NAACP, Valley MLK Unity in the Community Committee, and others leaders as we strengthen our commitments toward UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY while making tremendous progress toward a prominent MLK Mural in the City of Derby and other MLK Committee efforts throughout our beloved Valley.
