Huntington Branch Library to host anime, pizza night fun for teens


SHELTON -  Registration for Classic Anime and Pizza Night is open! 

Teens 13+ can join Miss Jessica on Thursday, June 23 at 5:30 for 2 episodes of 1990's/2000's anime and pizza. 

This month we will be watching the first episode of Gundam Wing and Kare Kano (His and Her Circumstances). Pizza and Japanese snacks will be provided. 

Huntington Branch Library is at 41 Church St.

Derby Public Library readies Teen Summer Library Club kickoff

DERBY - Derby Public Library invites young adults ages 12 to 17 to kick off of 2022’s Teen Summer Library Club June 29. 


This year’s theme is “Beyond the Beaten Path” encouraging teens to engage in library programs that include Game Night activities and Maker Space creative outlets Wednesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. 

Teen club members who attend, review a book/article, or evaluate a website are entered into weekly drawings for local eateries’ gift cards. A grand prize winner will be drawn at the club’s finale Pizza Party Aug. 11.

Derby Neck Library to host Baby Stories and Senses


DERBY - Derby Neck Library will host a special story and playtime just for babies and toddlers at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 21.
We'll start with some songs, stories, and lap bounces, followed by 20 mins or so of free play!

We'll have interactive toys perfect for those practicing tummy time up to those learning to stand and walk, such as shakers, interactive mats, water tables, and more!

Derby Neck Library is at 307 Hawthorne Ave.
The program is targeted to ages Birth-3, but older siblings are welcome, too!
