Seymour Congregational Church to host Star Wars Day family fun


 

Kids to create alien, UFO at Huntington Branch Library to mark astronaut day


SHELTON - To celebrate Astronaut Day, children can use their imaginations at 4:30 p.m. May 5 at Huntington Branch Library to create an alien/UFO they might see if they traveled to space as an astronaut. 
They will use library provided materials to let their imaginations soar!
Registration required. Please register each child individually. Register online or call (203) 926-0111.
The Library is at 41 Church St.

Please Note: HBL Kids and HBL Teens are NOT restricting families to 3 registrations per month.

The incident occurred early Saturday morning at the intersection of Wakelee Avenue and Franklin Street.

Teen Advisory Board to meet May 28 at Derby Public Library



DERBY - Derby Public Library invites all young adults ages 12 to 17 to a Teen Advisory Board meeting at 3:30 p.m. May 28.

Attendees are encouraged to voice their ideas for improving and expanding young adult library services and teen programming. 

Focus will include participant input that contributes to the library fulfilling its mission of quality-of-life enhancements in: knowledge; entertainment; and  citizenship.
