Seymour Congregational Church to hold Field of Flags blessing ceremony

SEYMOUR - Join us for a meaningful and moving ceremony as we honor those who have served.

As part of our Field of Flags tradition, we will gather for a special blessing and plaque dedication ceremony, lifting up the names and stories of veterans from our community.

 Honor a Loved One
Plaques may be purchased for $5 through the church office in honor of someone who served. During the ceremony, plaques will be dedicated and names will be read aloud.

We are honored to be joined by Emil Senger Post 10, who will help lead this time of remembrance and gratitude.

Inspiring Hope at this year's 5k

As we get ready to pound the pavement, we're honored to share a couple of special community events hosted by our friends at Seymour Congregational Church to augment our 5k. Candlelight Vigil: Thursday, Oct. 2 at 6:30 p.m. Join us for a powerful community candlelight vigil as we gather to honor loved ones, celebrate survivors, and remember those we have lost. It's a beautiful moment of solidarity and support. Prayer & Reflection on Race Day: Saturday, Oct. 4 On race day, the church sanctuary will be open before, during, and after the race. We invite you to stop in for a quiet moment of prayer and light a candle in honor or in memory of someone touched by breast cancer.
