Derby Neck Library to present movie 'Citizen Kane' Monday

DERBY - Join us at 3:30 p.m. Monday for a special 85th-anniversary screening of Orson Welles’s groundbreaking masterpiece, Citizen Kane (1941). 

Whether you’ve never seen it before or have seen it dozens of times, this is the perfect opportunity to see one of the greatest pictures ever made with an audience on our big screen. 

Hot, fresh popcorn will be served.

The Library is at 307 Hawthorne Ave.

Master's Table to offer meal Sunday at Huntington Congregational Church

When: Sunday, Aug. 9 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. (or until food runs out)

Where: Huntington Congregational Church,19 Church St., Shelton.

Must be present to receive a meal.

Park car and enter church hall. If you are unable to exit your car or don't want to come inside, please speak to our volunteers outside and they will bring out your meal.

Pick up meal and browse giveaway table. You can eat your takeout meal inside but bring your own beverage.

SEYMOUR - Join us for an unforgettable day of automotive excellence on Sunday, Oct. 11 with a rain date of Oct. 18 at Microboard Processing.

The event will run from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. DJ Jovanii will be providing the music. 

Lions Cafe will be serving breakfast until 11 a.m. Food trucks will be available for lunch. Trophies and raffles presented in the afternoon.
