From the 'Turnback Tuesday' archives: Postcard featuring CT
This week's "Turnback Tuesday" features this postcard for the State of Connecticut. In the top right-hand corner is a part of the Great Seal of the State of CT.
The three grape vines support and bear fruit while the ribbon below contains the Latin Motto “Qui Transtulit Sustinet” which means “He who transplanted sustains.”
This has been a part of the seal since May of 1784.

Derby 350 historical plaque features story of Griffin Hospital
Sharing today's Facebook post from Jack Walsh, chairman, Derby 350 historical plaque project.
"The Derby 350th Historic Plaque of the Week is for a building that is central to the life of the whole Valley. The plaque tells how and when the hospital came about and how it still serves our community so well."
