Pizza restaurant opens in Ansonia

ANSONIA - Mayor David S. Cassetti was on hand for today's official grand opening of Pelin’s Pizza at 228 Pershing Drive.

“I am pleased to announce a new pizza restaurant in Ansonia,” Cassetti said. 
"The restaurant will attract business from a heavily traversed area of town. We have a nice cluster of restaurants and the number is climbing.”

The restaurant will feature Italian food including grinders, calzones, pizza, a full dinner menu, salads, and the like.

The restaurant has a small seating area and also offers a full take out menu.

Ansonia mayor announces run for re-election

ANSONIA - It's 2015, an odd-numbered year, and that means it is time once again for municipal elections in the Valley.

Mayor David S. Cassetti announced Monday on the steps of City Hall that he is seeking re-election. He has been in office for just over a year.
