Sharing Seymour photo used for today's B & W challenge

I liked how this photo came out in black and white that I posted for a Facebook challenge and I thought I'd share it here.
It's a view of the fish bypass channel near the Tingue Dam on the Naugatuck River in downtown Seymour.

Transplant, food drive in Shelton highlighted in newsletter

Dear readers,

The six-month anniversary of my kidney transplant inspired me to write about it in the latest edition of our Valley Voice newsletter.

We also cover the 31st annual Thanksgiving food drive for Spooner House in Shelton by Dr. Bruce Sofferman and his family.

Please check it out!

Thanks,
Patti

SEYMOUR - The 33rd annual Veterans Day candlelight vigil will be held at 4 p.m. today at Broad Street Park at the corner of Broad and River streets.

The public is invited.
The ceremony will honor all those who served and are serving in the Armed Forces.
