Learn to make Greek specialties at Derby Public Library


DERBY - The Derby Public Library has scheduled another cooking demo at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 11. 
The topic will be It’s All Greek to Me.  
Stacey Ference of Savour Catering will show participants how to make (and pronounce) some popular Greek specialties, including spanakopita, souvlaki, and farina halva.  

There will be samples of all demonstrated foods. The class is for ages 18 years and older.  
Registration is required.

Recuperation journey: Stuff I don't like doing

This morning I made a pot of chicken rice soup.
I'm really not fond of taking the strings off of celery, or peeling carrots. 

I also don't care for peeling potatoes.


That's why I made chicken rice soup!   😁
