Update: Ansonia police report Leah Ortiz, 14, has been located and is safe

ANSONIA - The Ansonia Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in locating a juvenile runaway, 14-year-old Leah Ortiz. 

She was last seen on Jan. 2, 2025 in the area of Arch Street and Howard Avenue. 

Ortiz is 5 foot 2 inches tall, 110 pounds, with brown eyes and brown and red hair.
