CT Foodshare truck to visit St. Mary's Church Tuesday in Derby

DERBY - The CT Foodshare truck will return to St. Mary’s Church parking lot Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 2:15-3 p.m.
No income limits, no questions asked..just bring a bag to receive some food. Next visit is Jan. 28.
Please note that, per CT Foodshare's rules, THERE WILL NO LONGER BE ANY PLACE HOLDING IN LINE by arriving very early and putting bags, carts, etc. along the church wall.
At 2 p.m. numbered tickets will be handed out to guests who are physically in line at the spot in the parking lot noted as the "ticket line", which will be clearly marked with a large sign. Different colored tickets will be used each week.

Pink the Rink hockey game at Sports Center in Shelton to benefit Seymour Pink

Pink as the Post University Men's Hockey Team takes on Southern New Hampshire Saturday, Jan. 25.
You remember this team from our 5k - those young men were so helpful with setup, cleanup and water distribution. Let's cheer them on and PINK the Rink for them!

The game is at 3:30 at the Rinks in Shelton. Game entry is free, however, Seymour Pink is offering a VIP watch area with light fare, beer, and wine for $25.

Sarah will present a case study of how she solved a difficult family mystery, and will introduce international research. She will also discuss strategies to feel confident in sourcing your research. 

Please bring any family documents and information you have, as well as a tablet or laptop, for guided research time.

Children and their caregivers are welcome to join yoga instructor Miss Krista Boyer from Krista's Kids Yoga as she patiently teaches youngest yogis-in-training poses that complement a shared book and music fun too. 

Please bring your own yoga mat, bring water, and wear socks too. No prior yoga experience is needed. Caregivers will be participating alongside their child.
