MOvember is a nationwide effort to promote men’s health by bringing back the glory of the moustache (or ‘MO). This contest is open to everyone – hospital employees, physicians, volunteers, friends and family.
Prostate cancer.Testicular cancer.Poor mental health. Physical inactivity. These are some of the biggest health issues faced by men. Together we're tackling them face-first.
Starting Nov. 2, contestants can enter the “Show Your ‘Mo” competition for an entry fee of $5.
The Real Deal: Grown moustaches that start on Nov. 1 or later (contestants much purchase their entry relatively clean shaven).
Pre-existing condition: Contestants who already have a moustache.
The Faux Mo: A moustache crafted from whatever materials you’d like. LET YOUR CREATIVITY RUN WILD!
There are three ways to register:
Register at Griffin Hospital's Dining Room (not during peak lunch hours noon-1 p.m.)
Register at Griffin Pharmacy and Gifts
Register through Christian Meagher, Communications and Public Affairs, at X7431, email cmeagher@griffinhealth.org or MOX (good for second and third shift contestants).
Mo rules!

Photos can be emailed to Christian Meagher at cmeagher@griffinhealth.org, sent via interoffice mail to the Communications and Public Affairs Department, or you can contact Christian at X7431 to set up a time for him to come and photograph your ‘MO.
Vote for your favorite Mo.
From Dec. 1-4, the submissions will be on display in the Dining Room and on the Hospital Intranet. They will be voted on through $1 ballots.
The winners will be announced on Dec. 7 and will receive prizes, including free meals at the Hospital Dining Room!
