The Shelton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating John Mushala who was last seen on June 19, 2026, at approximately 5 p.m. in the area of 45 Maltby St. in Shelton.

Please review the details listed in the attached Silver Alert flyer. Anyone with information regarding Mr. Mushala’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Shelton Police Department immediately at (203) 924-1544 or call 911.

We are asking for the public’s help in locating William Garcia-Espana, who has been missing from Beacon Falls since January 2, 2026.

A Silver Alert has been issued.

* Height: 5'10"

* Weight: 160 lbs

* Hair/Eyes: Black hair, Brown eyes

* Distinctive Marks: Lion tattoo on his upper right arm; "FAMILY" tattoo across his chest.

Last Seen Wearing:

* Green sweater

* Black sweatpants

* Gray winter hat

UPDATE: CARIOLO LOCATED AND SAFE

ANSONIA -  Ansonia Police are looking for the public’s assistance in locating Cosimo Cariolo, 56, of Ansonia. 

Cariolo left his home this morning [Thursday] and has not returned home, police said. 

He was last seen in the area of Grove Street and Howard Avenue. 

Cariolo is a white male, six feet tall, 180 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing a peach/orange colored polo shirt and flip flops. 

Cariolo takes medication daily and did not take the medication with him when he left the house. He has been listed as a silver alert.
