Responding officers observed another suspect operating the stolen bike shortly after the incident and found the bike abandoned on Sunset Drive where it was recovered, Lt. Patrick Lynch said in a release.

Additional officers and detective personnel were conducting surveillance and patrols in the area.  They were able to locate a vehicle that was suspected of containing one of the suspects.
A motor vehicle stop was conducted on the vehicle, and one of the suspects, a 17-year-old juvenile, was located in the vehicle and taken into custody.  Officers recovered a loaded firearm and narcotics from the 17-year old juvenile suspect.

The juvenile was ordered detained and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Bridgeport.

The other suspect has been identified and an additional arrest is expected in the robbery investigation, Lynch said.

As a result of the motor vehicle stop where the robbery suspect was located, additional narcotics were located in the vehicle and the two other occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody on narcotics charges.
While in custody, one of the suspects attempted to conceal additional narcotics on his person and resisted being searched but those narcotics were recovered.

Sheldon Haley, 45, of Ansonia was charged with possession of a controlled substance. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond.

Kylen Sanders, 31, of West Haven was charged with possession of a controlled substance (2 counts), possession of narcotics with intent, tampering with evidence, and interfering with a police officer.
