Written Words to host 3rd annual puzzle competition in Shelton

SHELTON - The small but mighty puzzle pieces are back to taunt competitors at Written Words Books & Gifts’ 3rd Annual Jigsaw Puzzle Competition! It features 10 teams, each with a 500-piece puzzle.
Who will reign supreme?
And who will knock two-time champions - the “Perennial Puzzlers” off their throne?

This year’s competition will be held from 2-5 p.m. May 18 at 430 Coram Ave. (formerly St. Joseph Catholic School building).
The friendly competition requires four members to a team (must be age 12 and older). Registration fee is $50 per team and the group who completes a 500-piece puzzle fastest within the allotted time frame wins. Prizes will be awarded.

New to 2019 is our brand new sponsor: Eeboo, a boutique toy and gift company based in NYC. Eeboo creates refreshing, high quality products that are 100 percent original (no licenses) and commission artwork from well-loved children’s book illustrators – what a perfect fit! To celebrate our new partnership, Eeboo is offering a generous 30 percent off any item $19.99 and above from now until midday June 2!
Visit http://www.shop.eeboo.com and use discount code POP2019.

A maximum of 10 teams will be accepted to compete. Teams must pre-register by contacting Dorothy at 203-944-0400 or dorothy@writtenwordsbookstore.com.

The competition is organized by members of Written Words Books & Gifts’ in-house jigsaw puzzle group called “POP,” which aptly stands for “Puzzle Obsessed People.”
