OXFORD - Oxford Public Library will host a meet the author event with Janet Barrett, author of Comanche and his Captain: The Warhorse and the Soldier of Fortune at 6 p.m. March 24.
The program is in-person/virtual hybrid.
Barrett will talk about writing the history of Comanche, the horse of Captain Miles Keogh from the famed battles during the Civil War and at Little Bighorn.
Books will be available for sale and signing.
The Library is at 48 Great Oak Road.
