Shelton Police remind residents of winter storm emergency parking ban

IMPENDING SNOWSTORM ANNOUNCEMENT

SHELTON - The Public Works Department in cooperation with and enforced by the Shelton Police Department is implementing our Snow/Winter Storm Emergency Parking Ban.

Beginning 6 p.m. today, Jan. 28 thru 6 a.m. Jan. Monday, 31:

“On odd numbered days, parking shall be permitted during the aforementioned hours, only on the odd numbered side of the street. On even numbered days, parking shall be permitted during the aforementioned hours only on the even numbered side of the street. Any vehicles towed shall be stored at the police authorized towing company address. The fees for towing are regulated by the State of Connecticut.”

We will also be closing The Shelton Transfer Station on Saturday, Jan. 29 and reopen on Monday, Jan. 31.
