DERBY - With the potential for heavy snow (or some snow) beginning Saturday morning, just a reminder that the winter parking ban is in effect. With this being an ODD number month, street parking is only allowed on the ODD number side of the street.
Derby police officers will be assisting public works by strictly enforcing this.
Illegally parked vehicles that pose a hazard or interfere with the plows may be towed at the owner's expense.
If you must go out in the snow, please drive safely, clear your roof and windows of snow and ice (it is illegal to operate an igloo), and leave plenty of room between you and other vehicles to allow proper time to stop.
