Here's a fun 'Turnback Tuesday' I posted a year ago today:

This week's "Turnback Tuesday" looks at phone booths. 

Once located across the country, they are virtually non-existent now. The first coin operated public telephone was located in a bank in Hartford in 1889. 
Outdoor phone booths made their entrance in the early 1900s. 
This booth was located on Route 115 in Derby by Division Street, Elm Street, and Derby Avenue.

I thought this one was really interesting. I never knew there was once a phone booth at the Ansonia town line. A different world!

Recuperation journey: iPhone - my phone?

My phone bit the dust last spring so shortly after I had my kidney transplant in May husband Ralph went online and bought a new iPhone 6 for moi. 

I realize it is "outdated," for those who care about such things, but it was a good price and it does the job.

I must admit I'm not addicted to it. That might be because I'm a baby boomer and not a millennial or younger, but I digress.

I'm so used to reading and writing on a good-sized desktop monitor, and the small cellphone screen makes me not want to use it too much.

Anyone else feel that way? Or am I just old fashioned?
