We’re sorry to share that due to the forecasted weather, the Christmas Parade has been canceled — but our holiday spirit is still going strong!

Seymour kicks off holidays with Christmas Parade today

SEYMOUR - The Christmas Parade kicks off at 2 p.m. today. Thank you, Santa for staying an extra day.

Please expect road closures and delays throughout the downtown area around 12 p.m. as participants need to register and line up.

Seymour postpones annual Christmas Parade until Dec. 4

SEYMOUR - The Christmas Parade has been postponed until next Sunday, Dec. 4. The parade will be held at the same time.

Seymour Christmas Parade Committee hosts holiday light contest in lieu of parade

SEYMOUR - The town's annual Christmas parade has been canceled this year due to COVID-19. 

Instead, the Seymour Parade Committee has put together a Christmas light contest to spread holiday cheer. 

An application must be completed and residents have until 12/15 to decorate. 

Prizes include gift cards for the top winners and the first 20 applicants will have a donation made in their name to the Seymour-Oxford Food Bank.

Forecast for Sunday postpones Seymour Christmas Parade to Dec. 8

"Due to weather concerns, The Seymour Christmas Parade will be rescheduled to Sunday, December 8th starting at 2 pm."
