Cardboard Dream House signs with independent record label in Seymour

SEYMOUR - Connecticut-based Indie Alternative Punk Band Cardboard Dream House has signed a record deal with independent label NeuroTronix Records.
Cardboard Dream House can be found playing shows all over the area, and its first full-length album is set to be released in the spring of 2020.
The band first surfaced in the summer of 2018 with a collection of whiskey-drenched songs, steeped in gasoline and heartache.

The music of CDH is an obscene and gritty blend of classic Alice Cooper and make-up era Kiss meets Alan Parsons and Green Day.
Songwriter and front man Bobby Roberts delivers a greasy and raw vocal, and his lyrics depict the pleas and confessions of a seasoned musician who has loved and lost too many times.

SEYMOUR - Connecticut-based indie piano-rock duo Passing Strange is no stranger to the studio, after recording a demo CD back in 2017, and laying down its first full-length album “Come Whatever Storms” in mid 2018.
This time, however, it will be a little different.
The duo consisting of drummer Anthony Paolucci and pianist/vocalist Kate Mirabella was recently signed by independent record label “NeuroTronix Records” in Seymour, and the two will be embarking on its musical journey in the studio with longtime producer Richard Demko (Rick D Keys).
The upcoming 11-song album is set to be released sometime in December 2019 and will be available worldwide on over 150 online digital music retailers and streaming providers.

“I am super excited to work with these guys,” said Demko, “as they are amazing songwriters. They have a great sound, and they are very talented musicians.”

SEYMOUR - Growing up, many kids dream about becoming rock stars.
Seymour High School graduate Kate Mirabella, is no exception.
On July 17 that dream came one step closer to reality when her band, Passing Strange, signed a record deal with NeuroTronix Records - an independent label in Seymour.
After three years of playing shows around the state, recording music, and raising funds for organizations like Bridges Healthcare, Milford Prevention Council, and To Write Love on Her Arms, Passing Strange is finally moving up in its musical career.

“It’s the kind of thing every musician dreams of, one day signing with a record label,” said Kate, who sings and plays piano in the band. “This is how all my heroes started out, and I’m hoping it’s the first big step on the road to great things.”

Drummer Anthony Paolucci said, "We’re hoping that by signing with NeuroTronix, this will open a lot of doors that might not otherwise be available to us. We’re excited to be working with Rick (Demko); he believes in our music as much as we do. With his experience and expertise, we’ll be able to reach even more people.”

You can check out Passing Strange’s pre-label album, Come Whatever Storms, on Spotify.
