Shelton libraries slate summer reading program registration


SHELTON - It's coming!!!
On June 17 from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Plumb and at 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Huntington, we will will OPEN in-person registrations for our
Summer Reading 2023 Program: "Out of this World" for kids 0 years old-12th grade!
This summer children/teens are welcome to read whatever book they like and then log their time on a summer reading calendar to earn prize tickets!
Prize tickets will then be earned to be used to for a chance to win a prize!
For CHILDREN: 0-going into 6th grade:
For every 15 minutes of reading, you'll earn a Prize Ticket for a chance at a prize!
20 prizes: 10 different ones at each Shelton library to choose from. Plus ONE Grand Prize!
For TEENS: going into 7th grade-going into 12th grade:
For every 30 minutes of reading, you'll earn a Prize Ticket for a chance at a prize!
8 Weekly Prizes, Plus ONE Grand Prize!

Shelton Libraries' reading challenge a huge success; next up is summer reading



The Shelton Libraries' Winter Reading Challenge 2023 was a TREMENDOUS success!
Take a look at the AMOUNT of books read in the 6-weeks!!! 📖📚📖📚📖📚
