Marathoners introduced at 11th annual Seymour Pink Pasta Dinner

At the 11th annual pasta dinner fundraiser Tuesday Seymour Pink founder Mary Deming introduced runners who will participate in the 43rd annual Marine Corps Marathon Oct. 28 in Washington, D.C. The dinner was held at Brookside Inn in Oxford.

Valley Arts Council hosts Visions from Veterans at E Street Gallery in Derby

U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War George LaBounty of Oxford points to his painting, "Eyes," at the Visions from Veterans exhibit at E Street Gallery in Derby. 
The Valley Arts Council hosted a well-attended opening reception Friday. 

Gallery director Armida Oradei presents an Honorable Mention certificate to Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War Bob Kukiel of Seymour for one of his paintings.
