ANSONIA - Ansonia Police responded at about 5:30 p.m. Nov. 4 to a residence on Prindle Avenue for a welfare check. The first arriving officers located a deceased male in the home, Lt. Patrick Lynch said today in a release.
The male was identified as Carlos Gonzalez, 55, the resident and sole occupant of the home. At this time there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances regarding the death of the individual.
An autopsy was completed and the cause and manner of death are pending further studies.
