SHELTON - Channel your inner rockstar with this full body cardio-jam session led by Debbie Russell and inspired by the infectious, energizing, and fun of playing the drums.
The event will be held from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the Shelton Community Center, 41 Church St.
Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements.
Using Ripstix which are supplied, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective workout!
This master class is for you if you:
+ hate exercise because it's not fun
+ don't know what POUND is
+ are afraid of hopping into a new fitness class and getting hurt
+ afraid that it might be too intense
+ don't think you can do it because you don't have rhythm or are uncoordinated.
