Derby Public Library to host live virtual concert 'The Science of Sound'

DERBY - Derby Public Library will sponsor "The Science of Sound" from 2-3:30 p.m. Jan. 24 via Zoom.

Presented by Caryn Lin, "The Science of Sound" is a live-streaming, multi-media, interactive S.T.E.A.M. extravaganza for all ages!

Sound is transformed through a five-string electric violin, sound effects made for electric guitar, and a myriad of modern technology. 

Sound waves become visible! Scientific concepts are explored. Sound and emotion are linked!

Our goal: Plant Seeds for Imaginative, Out of the Box Thinking!

Registration is required for this program online to receive the Zoom link and password.
