Adam's House in Shelton slates Friends in Grief training, seeks board members



Want to volunteer in our program and be a Friend In Grief to children coping with the death of a loved one? 
Become a FIG [Friend in Grief]!

This training will be held on-site at Adam's House [241 Coram Ave., Shelton], with scheduled outside break-outs, weather permitting. A $100 fee includes background check and cost of material. All days must be completed in order to qualify to volunteer in group.

Aug. 27  5-8 p.m.
Aug. 28  5-8 p.m.
Aug. 29  9 a.m.-3 p.m.
***Please note while at AH for training, we ask you to comply with our COVID protocol:

~ Masks are mandatory
~ Temperatures will be taken
~ Purell upon entering our center

Being a member of the Adam’s House Board means:
  • Able to commit to attend at least 6 board meetings per year (Currently all Board meetings are online but may revert to a mix of online and face to face meetings in future).
  • Attend in-person and online events
  • Fundraise on our behalf
  • Personal capacity to give
  • Willingness to connect Adam’s House with your networks for sponsorship and donations to further drive our organizations mission
