Author to discuss moon landing, space race at Derby Neck Library

DERBY - Derby Neck Library will present a special program at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 12 celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.

All ages are invited as the Library welcomes author and photographer Kevin Woyce who will review the dramatic Space Race of that era. 
Photographs and vintage art of the time will be used to relive the history Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions. 
He will also discuss lesser known scientific missions that followed.
No registration is necessary.
