OXFORD - The Connecticut Chinese Culture Association presents a powerpoint presentation "The Revival of 5,000 Years of Civilization," including the essence of traditional Chinese philosophies, at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Oxford Public Library.
It will include Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, how those core concepts influenced medicine, literature, music and arts, how the rich tradition was interrupted, and how the authentic culture is returning to the world stage through New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts.
This presentation runs 45 minutes with Q&A time after.
